As I’m not a professional critic and only get to see movies based on circumstance, then finding the time to watch all the best movies coming out this year is always an uphill struggle. Yet I am hoping that before the end of the year, I’ll get to pass judgement on the following…
Tron Legacy
Just about remember the 80s video game inspired Disney flick, but going by the trailers, this looks like an awesome, adrenalin fueled cinema experience.
Scott Pilgrim Vs The World
Heard nothing but good things about this post-Kick-Ass high concept comedy actioner from the makers of Hot Fuzz & Shaun Of The Dead (recommendation enough).
Toy Story 3
A no-brainer. It’s Pixar, It’s Woody & Buzz, and OH MY GOD have the reviews been good! Gimme gimme gimme!
Rec 2
Full-throttle follow-up to THE horror experience of the last few years. Craving the DVD / Blu-ray release like a rabid dog.
The Expendables
There’s no way this will live up to its potential, but promises to be a barrel load of fun regardless. Stallone, Li, Statham, Rourke, Lundgren, Schwarzenegger, Willis. An 80s action movie fan’s wet dream?
Let Me In
Dodgy title aside, this remake to possibly the best Vampire movie made in years, has Chloe (Hit Girl) Moretz in the lead role and Matt Reeves in the director’s chair (Cloverfield). High hopes that the crap-remake curse is finally broken!
I like some of your takes on these films. Any plans to review Nekromantik or Six String Samurai?

Afraid I’m not familiar with those two. Wasn’t Nekromantik an ultra gory grindhouse movie from way back?
Six String Samurai…sounds like I’d like that from the title alone!
