Merry Christmas!

Well that day many of us look forward to all year has finally arrived.  I always approach Christmas with mixed feelings.  It’s mostly for kids anyway, but despite not really enjoying the long-winded hype that leads up to it, I always feel nice and festive on the day itself.  Pictured below are what I received today from my parents and brother and I’m very happy.  I went for box-sets (The Sopranos complete collection Blu-ray, James Bond complete collection Blu-ray) mainly and a special edition steel-book of Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation.  Other than those shown below I also got some smellies, a Star Wars The Force Awakens T-shirt and vouchers.

So wishing everyone who reads this blog, long time visitors, followers and even those who just stumbled upon this post in a feed a very happy Christmas … so have a great time everyone with whatever you celebrate at this time of year.  Be safe, be happy, be kind.

I hope to be writing a few posts over next few days to detail my thoughts on the year leading up to my annual top ten.  So watch this space folks!

Happy Christmas!!

Well the big day has arrived again.  I hope my viewers here and regular readers are having a nice day and that Santa has been good to you all.

This year I have received some great gifts, some of which are pictured below, such as Dead Rising 3 on XBOX ONE, Season 3 of HBO’s acclaimed Boardwalk Empire, Monsters University on Blu-ray, 2014 Scarlett Johansson calendar … as well as clothes, chocolates, novelties etc.

So Merry Christmas one and all.  Thank you to all who got me something.  Hope you all like what I got you!  I am having a great day and gradually enjoying my stuff whilst looking forward to a traditional Christmas Turkey dinner!

Merry Christmas!

Just thought I’d wish anyone who stumbles upon this blog a very merry Christmas, and a happy new year.  I hope Santa has brought everything you have asked for and all that jazz.  We almost had a white Christmas too!  It was covered in a blanket of snow yesterday here, but has all but dried up this morning.  Boo hoo!

I did quite well and had some lovely gifts, including some high quality headphones, DVDs / Bluray, smellies, a couple of jumpers, a t-shirt, a scarf and the Ozzy Osbourne autobiography – as well as plenty of booze!  So there you have it.  Thankyou to everyone who got me prezzies, and I hope you all like what I got you!

I must admit I haven’t been in the spirit of things, for various reasons, be it the build up to Christmas, general personal circumstances or thoughts that linger in my head.  I have been a bit of a bar-humbug.  Yet now the day has arrived, I’m actually feeling good!!  Yes, I know – it took long enough.  Apologies to anyone who has worked with me, and thanks for putting up with my bad moods!

A merry Christmas one and all!!

Well the big day has arrived, we’ve all been stressed out trapesing around shops wondering what to buy people.  Now it’s done, and we can sit back and vegitate in front of the TV, watching doom & gloom on the Soaps or festive films.

I am well happy with what I have received this year, and also am pleased to say everyone seems pleased with what they have had off me.  Joy can be spread all round then!! xmasbabe.jpg

Here’s my prezzies I’ve had today, 25 December 2007!

Super Mario Galaxy (Nintendo Wii)

The top rated game that was just begging to be played!  I will offer a full opinion on this modern day classic soon!

Blade Runner: Ultimate Collectors Edition

As previously mention – full review coming soon!

Heroes: Complete Season One

Now I haven’t watched even a minute of this acclaimed TV series, but after collecting The Sopranos on DVD – I think this is an obvious choice for my next obsession!

The Simpsons Movie

It’s Simpsons – whatever people think, its a must see!

Blood Diamond

A complete surprise, but Leonardo DiCaprio – one of my favourite actors – where can u go wrong?

Chris Moyales: The difficult Second Book

Now this was a surprise, but a welcome one and something I am looking forward to reading!

Stephen King Gift Set: Misery, Carrie, Pet Semetary

3 classics from the undisputed greatest horror writer of all time.  I also find his style very readable – this will be good!

and also clothes, deoderant, aftershave, general smellies – result!

So to conclude, thankyou to everyone for the wonderful presents, and I wish u all a wonderful Christmas!!!
